Noel Fielding on his role as the host of GBBO

As for the latest Bake Off season, Fielding recently teased in The Guardian that viewers should expect ‘some very special bakers’ and described this year’s show as ‘vintage.’ He told the publication:

There are some very special bakers in the tent this year. Somehow the standard keeps getting higher.
These unbelievable young bakers are way better than they should be for their age. It's a vintage year. One of the best yet. I'm fascinated by the people. I feel protective of them.

Noel Fielding’s career beyond The Great British Bake Off

Apart from being a much-loved part of the GBBO, Fielding also runs a business called Fantasy Man Limited. Founded in April 2012, the company primarily operates in television programme production. According to Companies House, Fielding serves as the director alongside other notable figures, such as talent agent Caroline Paula Chignell and broadcaster Lliana Bird, his partner.

Fantasy Man Limited is categorised as a micro-company, meaning it has fewer than ten employees and generates a turnover below £632,000 annually. The company reported cash reserves of approximately £876,000 in 2023, but also carried liabilities of £354,000, reports Endole. Despite a drop in assets, it remains a valuable part of Fielding’s creative ventures, contributing to his income alongside his other entertainment projects.
