This is what seems to have happened with two times Love Island star Jake Cornish - who quit the All Stars spin-off rapidly. Reportedly, Jake is now in a new relationship.
Jake Cornish confirms he’s in a relationship but will keep it secret
The 26-year-old quit All Stars villa just three days into the show. Ever since he returned home from South Africa, the hunk had been looking for love. It is understood that Jake - who was once portrayed as the villain on the show - re-entered the dating scene and was eventually able to find someone he likes enough to confirm he’s in a relationship.
Talking about his new secret relationship, Jake told The Sun:
I've done a bit of dating and seen a couple of people. But to be honest with you, I'm seeing someone at the minute.
We keep our life private, like our relationship private because there's a lot of opinions involved, and I'm happy where I am at the minute, and she supports me.
While it’s a private affair today, Jake also hinted that if things go well he may reveal his new partner but currently his entire focus is on boxing. Jake added:
So we keep it nice and private. And then, yeah, maybe one day something will be shown but at the minute it is just purely boxing. I don't go out drinking. I don't go out partying.
Jake is currently training for boxing four times a day before his Misfits boxing debut against Mike Edwards. No official date has been confirmed for the match yet.
Jake Cornish’s past relationship
In 2021, when Jake embarked on his first Love Island journey he revealed that he had been in a relationship for seven years that ended due to lockdown, reports Mirror. He then had a sweet little thing going on with Liberty Poole in the villa, but things took a drastic turn after the infamous Movie Night destroyed their connection.
Ever since then, Jake hasn’t been involved with anyone long-term. Even Liberty hasn’t been with anyone long-term in the meantime. It was briefly rumoured that the two tried to rekindle their romance but failed in their attempt.
