The Bond films are a lasting piece of British culture that has managed to stand the test of time. Based originally on the books by Ian Fleming, the films see James Bond save Britain time and time again - all with charm, elegance and, often, a beautiful woman on his arm. The movies were once quite ridiculous in their embracing of the misogynistic, glamorised lifestyle of the fictional spy, but the writers have made a big effort to modernise the franchise's image over the years.

There have been seven Bonds so far, with Daniel Craig as the most recent. The last Bond film, No Time to Die, was released in 2021. There is now talk of a new actor being offered the role: Aaron Taylor-Johnson. One insider claimed:
Aaron is going to sign his contract in the coming days and they can start preparing for the big announcement.
Speaking previously about the rumours, the Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging star said he found it 'charming and wonderful that people see me in that role'. Taylor-Johnson first met his wife Sam when he was 18 and she was 42. The pair are happily married and now have two daughters together. Time will tell whether Taylor-Johnson really does become the next 007!
