Joel Dommet was first announced as the official presenter for The Masked Singer back in 2020. This year, he is returning for the sixth instalment of the show on ITV, alongside celebrity judges Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, who recently issued a serious health update, Mo Gilligan and Maya Jama, who is the new recruit this year. How much does he earn for hosting The Masked Singer?

Joel Dommett started hosting The Masked Singer in 2020, before also presenting The Masked Dancer the following year. According to The Sun, Joel Dommett earns a staggering £2,500 each day while he is working on the celebrity singing competition. However, that is not the only way the presenter is making money.

Indeed, he owns a performing arts firm called Neon Hero. Joel Dommett founded the company back in 2012, and it has been based in Norfolk since its creation. While his company made some nice earnings in 2022, to the amount of £71k, this profit was multiplied about ten times in the next year. According to The Sun, the firm made more than £840k in 2023. To this day, Neon Hero is said to be worth more than £2 million.

Born in Gloucestershire in 1985, Joel Dommett, who welcomed his first child with his wife Hannah Cooper last year, is a stand-up comedian and TV presenter. He moved to London when he was only nineteen, and he made his first appearance as a comedian on Russell Howard's Good News in April 2011. In 2008, he won his first award. Indeed, he won the Stand Up and Coming New Act of the Year, according to BBC Three.

Joel Dommett first rose to fame thanks to his appearance on ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2016, during which he was the runner-up. From 2017 to 2019, he became the official presenter for the spin-off I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp.

Joel Dommett is an ITV famous figure, but he was approached by the BBC in 2023 to host Survivor UK. The show made a big comeback after it been axed in 2002 due to failing viewership.

Before he became known for his hosting skills, the 39-year-old had a budding acting career. In 2002, he appeared on the BBC One show Casualty. In 2011, he was cast on BBC Two's mini-series Popatron for all six episodes. In 2021, he joined the short list of people who were chosen to present the National Television Awards.
