The actress chose to show the not-so-glamorous end to her night on Instagram and following that, Daily Mail divulged more details about the situation which sees her parents suffering from serious health issues.

Kate Beckinsale’s parents major health issues
Daily Mail reports that back in December 2023, it was revealed that Kate Beckinsale’s stepdad Roy Battersby had suffered a ‘massive stroke’. Unfortunately for the actress, this follows her mother who was diagnosed ‘with a longstanding illness six years ago’.
On top of this, Daily Mail previously disclosed that Beckinsale’s stepdad is battling two types of cancer. The tabloid also explains that the actress had both her parents moved to Los Angeles so she could take care of them.
Not much else is known about the situation.
Taking a toll on Kate Beckinsale’s own health
Reporting on both the stroke and the Golden Globes night, Daily Mail gives spaces to numerous sources who speak about how the difficult situations has had a strong impact on the actress.
