‘Pulled the diamonds out of his a*se’
During a British Vogue interview, the ever-elegant Kate Moss revisited some of her iconic red carpet looks from the 90s, and recalled a wild story about how she was gifted a stunning diamond necklace by her ex-partner Johnny Depp.
As Moss narrated it, she wore that particular necklace with a white John Galliano gown, which the designer had personally gifted her on her 21st birthday. She then teamed it with her favorite pair of black patent Mary Jane pumps from Manolo Blahnik.

While going out to dinner, Depp told her he had something up his a*se and if she would like to take a look at it. ‘I've got something in my bum. Can you have a look?'. And I was like, 'What?' And I put my hand down his trousers and I pulled out a diamond necklace. That diamond necklace,’ she recalled.
Kate Moss and Johnny Depp were an item in the 90s, and the former couple had dated from 1994 to 1998.
The trail that changed it all
Recently, Kate Moss made a comeback in Johnny Depp's life when she gave a character testimony during the infamous Johnny Depp-Amber Heard defamation trial in May of 2022. There was a rumour, allegedly invented by Amber Heard, of Depp pushing Moss down a flight of stairs back in the 90s but the supermodel testified under oath that that never happened, according to a news report by Meaww.
During the court hearing, which she joined via Zoom, Kate Moss was asked about a specific holiday the couple took in Jamaica during that time. She testified that as she left their room, she slid on some wet stairs.
I screamed because I didn't know what happened to me and I was in pain, and he came running back to help me and carried me to my room and brought me medical attention… I know the truth about Johnny. I know he never kicked me down the stairs. I had to say that truth.
