Lottie Moss was rushed to hospital after experiencing severe side effects from Ozempic, a medication she began using for weight loss. She opened up about the health scare during a recent episode of her podcast Dream On. According to The Independent, she took Ozempic for two weeks because she was ‘not feeling happy about my weight.’

Originally intended for managing Type 2 diabetes, Ozempic has become a popular, off-label weight-loss drug in Hollywood. Lottie, who was already slim, started taking the medication but later described it as ‘the worst decision’ she ever made.

Lottie explained that she obtained the drug from a doctor who wasn’t exactly her own, reports E! News. She revealed that she was taking a much higher dosage than recommended, which led to serious health complications. She said on the podcast:

I was throwing up, it was horrible. I felt so sick one day, I said to my friend, ‘I can’t keep any water down. I can’t keep any food down, no liquids, nothing. I need to go to the hospital. I feel really sick.’

I literally had a seizure from how dehydrated I was, which honestly was the scariest thing that’s ever happened to me in my life. My friend had to hold my feet down. It was so scary, the whole situation. My face was clenching up, my whole body was tense.

She was sent to the emergency room where a nurse discovered that Lottie was taking a much higher dosage than recommended for her. Lottie claimed that she couldn’t move her hands during the seizure. She added:

I would rather die any day than take it again.

While Lottie Moss is carving out a name for herself now, with her OnlyFans account, and her podcast, she was, for the longest time, known because she's related to one of the most famous English models, Kate Moss.

There is a 24-year age gap between them, and Lottie has often spoken about how this difference has affected their bond, reports People Magazine. In 2023, she said:

I love her. She’s my sister, but we’re just not close.

Lottie has often spoken about how growing up as ‘Kate Moss’ sister’ was hard for her. She explained:

When I started out, I was always just ‘Kate Moss’s sister.’ That was really hard for me growing up, especially not being that close with my sister (we still don’t really have a relationship now, which is something I never really speak about).

It’s hard when you have someone ‘close’ to you doing the exact same job as you, who’s already very prominent in the industry, but not having any advice or guidance.
