Katie Price has been banned from driving on at least 5 other occasions from speeding to driving without insurance as well as driving whilst already being banned from driving. As can be expected with such a driving record, it is rather hard for Price to get car insurance, and when she does, it costs her an eye-watering sum.
Katie opened up about her hunt for cheaper car insurance and shared her little hack to make hers cheaper.
Katie Price struggles to find car insurance
Katie Price, who has once again gone under the knife, has opened up about her struggle to get good car insurance.
Price’s latest driving ban has been lifted and on a TikTok live on Saturday, July 15, she revealed that for her, getting car insurance is really difficult. She told her fans that she feels that insurance companies are ‘discriminating’ against her as she doesn’t have a normal job’.
They were my quotes because no one else would insure me because of who I am. It’s discrimination because if someone else had the same as me and they had a normal job, they wouldn’t charge that much, it’s way more than the car.
The 45-year-old then revealed that she has previously been quoted up to a massive £73,000. She said on her live, as reported by Mirror:
The quotes I had for my insurance on a normal car that is £15k was £73k, one was £53k and one was £33k

Katie Price changed her job title on her insurance application
As Katie Price felt she was discriminated against because of her job, she decided to make a small change to her insurance application. She revealed that the small change drastically changed the price of her insurance.
Katie changed her profession to ‘author’ and her insurance was reduced to £14,000, meaning that her policy was reduced by a whopping £59,000 if you take the highest quote she was given.
Then I changed it to author and the insurance is £14k for a year but it’s still not the car I want.
