Katie Price shuts down romance rumours with Piers Morgan
Louis Theroux, whose one-off rap song went viral last year, invited Katie Price on his podcast, to talk about her personal life. The presenter did not hold back on asking the reality TV star about her love life, and he tackled the rumours started by Piers Morgan.
Katie Price first answered by saying she has always been a fan of the Good Morning Britain presenter, despite his controversial views on certain topics. She also explained having known him before he got famous, as she worked with him when he was the editor of the Mirror. However, despite being good friends, she absolutely denied a possible romance between the two, before quickly changing the subject:
F**k off! No way! He looks like an egg.
In April 2022, Piers Morgan wrote an open letter to Katie Price, which was published in the Sun. In his letter, the journalist claimed she had tried to sleep with him, as well as with X-Factor juror Simon Cowell, and she was allegedly furious when they turned her down. He wrote:
I remember you stumbling towards me at Simon Cowell’s 50th birthday party, where you’d morphed into full-on Jordan as the night wore on, and expressing your indignant rage that the birthday boy had just declined your offer of a risqué sexual gift.
Then you explained exactly what you would do to me, which I'm afraid is not repeatable in a family newspaper.
Piers Morgan sent Katie Price a stark warning
That's not the only time Piers Morgan sent her a public 'letter'. In August 2024, Piers Morgan issued a warning to Katie Price, which was also published in TheSun, as she has been involved in serious legal troubles, including declaring bankruptcy several times. She was first declared bankrupt in 2019, then another time in March 2024, with a debt estimated at around £750,000.
In August 2024, Katie Price was actually arrested after she failed to appear in court for her bankruptcy hearings. Over the years, she has also received several fines after driving recklessly, and she had her driving licence taken away for a few months.
The Good Morning Britain presenter began his warning by declaring his affection for the reality TV star:
I’ve always had a soft spot for Katie Price because of the remarkable love and devotion she’s shown her severely disabled son Harvey.
However, he believes her legal troubles will probably end badly. He begged her to put her children first, and he told her to 'get a grip'. Piers Morgan went on:
But her ongoing spiral into shameful self-destruction is pathetic to watch and having seen so many people from all rungs of the celebrity ladder go down a similar path, I fear it will inevitably end very badly. Get a grip, Pricey, before it’s too late and you leave poor Harvey without either parent in his life.
