After she did not appear for a short hearing at a specialist insolvency and companies court in London earlier this month, trustees sought a re-listing of the questioning after she breached a payment agreement.

As a result, a court has demanded Katie be questioned about her finances or the Trustees handling her bankruptcy have the power to sell her house to meet her debts. The bankrupt star will be asked to give evidence at the bankruptcy hearing in London on 14 September.

Katie must now present a case to court to either reveal her plan to settle her £2.3 million debts or put proof forward that she needs the house to make more money, confirmed The Sun. Most of Katie’s OnlyFans content is shot from the pad. A financial expert added:

Time is ticking now. The court will only have so much patience with her. The trustee in her bankruptcy has now taken over all dealings with her creditors.
And the trustee is now in charge of all her finances and also has powers listed in Schedule 5 of the Insolvency Act 1986.
These powers enable the trustee to manage her estate and carry out investigations and bring legal action to improve realisations for the benefit of the creditors. These include the power to sell any property comprised in the bankruptcy estate.

Katie Price insists she’s not broke

The battle to save her house comes after Katie earlier boasted about having a £2.2 million house. She added she wasn’t bankrupt or poor as long as she has the house - which will be forever.

Answering a few questions on her TikTok live, Katie shared:

I live in my own £2.2m house, I own it, nobody can ever take it away from me. I wouldn't call that broke, would you?
I'm not poor actually, totally the opposite, but thank you.

Katie paid £1.3 million for the home nine years ago and now it’s worth more than £2 million.
