Katie Price claims Peter Andre banned her from talking about him
In a recent appearance on Grace Dent’s - who took an early exit from I’m A Celeb - podcast Comfort Eating, Katie slammed all her marriages. She labelled them as ‘rebound relationships’ and ‘rehearsals.’
Talking about them, the mother-of-five claimed that she’s still waiting for a man who would treat her like she deserves to be treated - with surprise meals, shopping days and gifts. She spoke of her marriage and said:
Rebounds and rebounds. I don't call them real marriages - they're rehearsals.
Talking about her marriage with Peter Andre in particular, she claimed that the singer never really liked her. She also hinted that she has to be ‘careful’ about what she says about him as she has been ‘gagged’ previously for talking about him. Katie explained:
If you knew what I knew, all I can say on that is if you read my mum's book because I've sort of been gagged, so I have to be careful what I say.
In Amy Price’s book, she alleges Peter got with Katie to revive his career, reports The Sun. However, Peter - who is still in Katie’s will after 14 years of their divorce - even considered taking legal action over these allegations. Katie added:
If you read my mum's book, my mum hasn't been gagged and there's loads of TikToks that are about now, about how he was with me.
Was he in love with me? I don't actually know now. I don't know if it was all fake, I don't know, But I was in love with him.
Peter Andre claimed he ‘hated’ Katie during their relationship
Peter and Katie have said numerous things about each other including how the divorce ‘destroyed’ him as she took his kids away for a while, confirms The Mirror. There were many rows and constant arguments between the two that led Peter to confess that he hated her.
He said at that time:
I love her incredibly but when I hate her, I hate her. Hate's a bad word – when I'm not happy, I'm very not happy.
Me and Kate were going through so much s*** last year. People knew we were arguing all the time. All this speculation about us and it made us argue more, it was a really, really bad time.
