Katie Price’s life is anything but dull. The former glamour model has been trying time and time again to revive her career with new ventures after her bankruptcy. Be it her ‘truth-revealing’ podcast The Katie Price Show that she started with her sister, or her new book that may name the celeb who abused her, the 46-year-old has some tricks up her sleeve. Her OnlyFans account is also one of them.

However, Price has still failed to pay her debtors or appear in court to provide the ‘most basic information’ about her bankruptcies. As a result, an arrest warrant has been issued for her.
Arrest warrant issued for Katie Price as she misses court hearing for Turkey
According to The Telegraph, Price was due to appear in court on Tuesday (30 July) and face questions related to her finances at a hearing known as a public examination before a specialist bankruptcy court in London. The hearing was supposed to take place with barrister Darragh Connell as the trustee. Price was supposed to provide a written submission that there ‘remains significant information missing as regards the bankrupt’s income and asset position.’
A judge at a previous hearing confirmed that Katie would risk getting an arrest warrant if she failed to appear in court at her next hearing. Despite it being a crucial hearing, the mother-of-five decided not to go.
Catherine Burton, an Insolvency and Companies Court judge, confirmed that Price had full knowledge and ‘very clear warnings’ that she must attend the hearing. However, it was revealed to the court that Katie had travelled to Turkey instead. This claim was evidenced by a now-deleted Instagram story where Price appeared to be eating her crisp sandwich on a flight.
Judge Burton ultimately ended up issuing a warrant and said:
It is in my judgement necessary that the court issue a warrant for Ms Price’s arrest.
She has no real excuse in failing to attend today’s hearing. The reason for her absence today is irrelevant.
She described Price's inability to cooperate in an effective manner as 'piecemeal co-operation' and said that she also did not 'provide the most basic information' about her bankruptcy. Burton says that for these reasons, the warrant is justified.
This comes after Price addressed missing her last bankruptcy hearing by stating she wasn’t ‘mentally strong enough.’
How long could Katie Price be arrested for?
In October 2023, the I’m A Celeb star said that she was ‘fed up’ with the threats of legal action and would rather go to prison to be ‘done with it all,’ reports BBC.
Barrister Connell told the court that the trustee does not have ‘any information as to her whereabouts.’ The hearing was also due to hear an application by the trustee for Price’s vehicles.
Connell explained that Price had indicated she would deliver some of her vehicles to the trustee as she worked to pay off her balance. This included her pink Range Rover which has a personalised registration plate of her initials. But Price didn’t deliver her end of the bargain.
In light of this, Connell said that Price ‘would not be kept in custody for a long period of time’ but would be detained to secure her presence at the next hearing. He added:
Her liberty is on the line, but unfortunately, we are at the end of the road in relation to this matter.
Katie Price responds to the news
Following the media coverage of her arrest, Price decided to take to Instagram to defend her position in her stories. The former model said 'she is fully aware' of her current situation, but is 'shocked' at the headlines. She goes on to explain that she is currently in Turkey to film a documentary about corrective surgeries.
She continued:
I have and I am continuing to cooperate with the relevant people on matters to the best of my ability which will be addressed after my return from work.
I am neither embarrassed or ashamed. I own my situation and I am trying my best to work my way out of it and put matters right.
She adds that she 'is not running from matters' and will continue to take them seriously. Price has not, however, directly addressed the arrest warrant that has been issued.
In her stories, she then went on to post about visiting a cosmetic surgery clinic.
