Alex was a lamb
The Celebrity Big Brother winner discussed his high-profile marriage with the 44-year-old Katie Price on Monday. Speaking to Nigel Farage on GB News, he explained that he was ‘swept away’ by the sudden fame that led him to marry Katie Price, reported MailOnline.
The ceremony that took place in Sin City within 20 minutes shifted him to a limelight that he was never used to having. The star confessed that marrying former glamour model Katie Price got him more media attention than anything else in his life. He explained:
All of a sudden I'm stratospheric everywhere because of my relationship with a certain person. I'm everywhere.
I was just swept away with it. I didn't know what planet I was on. I was like a lamb to the slaughter.
Nigel commented:
The marriage didn't last that long. You've been going through, from what I can see of it, eight or nine years of legal action of name calling back and forth with her.
Katie and Alex's history
The I’m A Celeb star was ordered to pay Alex £140,000 in legal fees after she allegedly showed a sex tape footage of him to a studio audience. Katie is also handed a five-year injunction that prevents her from sharing any information regarding their relationship.
While recording an episode of Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side in January 2018, Katie had allegedly screened an indecent video clip of Alex to a 40-person TV studio audience off-camera.
