Katy Perry released her new music video in which she introduced us to her unborn child

At the end of the video, Katy Perry is shown delicately cradling a baby bump. That's right, Katy Perry is pregnant.

The singer and her beau, Orlando Bloom, who has starred in films such as Pirates Of The Caribbean and Lord Of The Rings are with a child after their three years, on-again/ off-again relationship. They have been engaged to be married since Valentine's Day of last year.

The star took to Twitter afterwards to confirm fans' suspicions:

The star was even live-streaming after the release of the video to witness fans' reactions in person.

Katy will also be a step-mother to Bloom's 9-year-old first-child Fyn whom he had with first wife Australian model Miranda Kerr.

During the Instagram live stream the 'firework' singer stated:

'’m excited, we’re excited and happy. It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep. I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music.'

She also included:

'There’s a lot that’s happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth, literally, and figuratively… to something you guys have been waiting for,'
