Tom Parker's widow was reportedly hurt by Max George's behaviour
After The Wanted singer Tom Parker was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in 2020, his bandmates all gathered around him and his wife to support them both as best as they could. Max George was at the forefront, as he was the one to give a heart-wrenching eulogy during Tom Parker's funeral, two years after his initial diagnosis. Tom Parker left behind his 31-year-old wife, Kelsey, and their two young children, Aurelia and Bodhi. While Kelsey Parker and Max George seemed close as they supported each other through their grief, at first, they have now been rumoured to be involved in a secret feud.
Three years after Tom Parker's untimely death, his widow's friends reportedly told Katie Hind, from the Daily Mail, that Max George's behaviour had left Kelsey Parker 'deeply hurt'.
When Tom died, Max was quick to tell everyone how he planned to always be there for Tom’s wife and children, that he would take care of them and look after them.
There was no reason to think he didn’t mean it and Kelsey was so grateful. But recently he has disappeared. He doesn’t visit her and the kids and isn’t involved in their lives.
According to these anonymous sources, Kelsey Parker has been hurt by Max George's actions, as he has often been heard talking about his late friend, but he reportedly does not visit his family anymore.
Of course, life moves on and people are busy but what is irking for Kelsey is that Max keeps talking about Tom on social media and on TV. Kelsey thinks that the friendship would be of more value if he was on hand a bit more.
Kelsey Parker announces she is expecting her third child
The unexpected revelation comes just a few days after Kelsey Parker announced she is expecting her third child, three years after her husband's death.
The baby will be her first child with her new partner, tree surgeon Will Lindsay. She told the Mirror about the mixed feelings this new pregnancy involves:
Tom and I always said we wanted four – but life had other plans. So yes, this is amazing but also bittersweet.
While this big news is making her emotional, she is also very excited to welcome a new person into her life. She believes her late husband would have wanted her to still find joy in life, saying he 'wouldn't want me to live in sadness without him'. Kelsey Parker went on:
The joys of finding out I’m pregnant and moving forward with my life, while thinking, ‘My life could have been so different.’ I’ve felt every emotion under the sun. I’m still getting my head around it but I’m so excited.
Tom Parker's own mother, Noreen, also gave Kelsey her blessing for this third baby. She explained:
Noreen is the most amazing lady. After Tom passed, she said to me, ‘As long as you’re happy Kels, whatever you do, we will always support you and be happy for you.’ We’ve all been through so much together. But I’m here and bringing another baby into the world.
