Kerry Riches is the latest contestant to be booted from the Big Brother house. She was evicted from the house in a surprise eviction that took place on the night of Halloween as a result of a power vote. Kerry claimed in the house that she was ‘ready’ to come out of the house and it may have something to do with her health. Here’s why!

Big Brother Kerry rushed to doctors in unaired scenes
According to the NHS worker, things in the house were getting overwhelming for her on many levels. Reportedly, she suffered an excruciating burn on her hand and had to receive medical attention. The 40-year-old told The Sun:
I burnt my hand on a hair thong that got hot very quickly and I didn't realise it was on and straight away they asked me to go to the diary room.
I was asked if I had any blisters - the team were really on it.
Not only this, but Kerry also revealed she lost sight in one of her eyes as a symptom of MS. Kerry explained she had been ‘struggling’ for the last two to five days in the house as she discovered ‘some MS symptoms that I hadn't had since diagnosis.’
She shared:
I started to lose my vision a little bit in one of my eyes, optic neuritis, I took a couple of paracetamols and thought my lunchtime if it was gone then it was just a headache but if it hadn't then it was something a bit more sinister.
The sleep deprivation was real, I've never felt nothing like it in my life, I massively underestimated that on my part.
Big Brother’s Kerry Riches to quit NHS for a TV role
Kerry may have been evicted from the show, but the ‘mum’ of the show is hoping it isn’t the last time that she’s on TV. Much like many former Big Brother stars and winners, Kerry hopes to pursue a TV career and she has her eyes set for one very specific show.
Kerry told The Sun that she’s vying to be on ITV’s Loose Women panel. She said:
What I'd loved to be is a Loose Women, I love to chat.
I love Janet Street Porter, I love Coleen Nolan, I love Nadia Sawhla, that would be lovely.
She added that she has ‘no plans’ to return to the NHS as of now. She said:
I love the NHS, I've done it for 21 years, it's a long time and I've always said if doors open for this, then I'd gladly walk through them.
It's been the only employer I've ever known but right now I just need a bit of time off, I'm on a sabbatical, I'm on a career break.
