Once again, the rapper is being talked about, this time in connection with his eldest child, North West, who already has a massive net worth.
Kanye allowed his daughter, North, 11, to feature on a song with fellow rapper P Diddy, who is currently in prison for a series of sex crime offences. Following this news, sources have alleged that Kim Kardashian is considering taking her ex-husband back to court to gain full custody of their four children to protect them from Kanye’s influence.
Kim Kardashian ‘horrified’ by North’s involvement in P Diddy song
As reported by The Sun, Kim Kardashian was more than upset upon learning her ex-husband had allowed their daughter to take part in a song with P Diddy, also known as Sean Combs. The song Lonely Roads Still Go To Sunshine features P Diddy’s son, King, 26.
In the song, North can be heard rapping, ‘When you see me shining, then you see the light.’ The song was originally set to be released over the weekend, but Kim tried to block its release. According to reports, Kardashian sent cease-and-desist letters to Kanye.
An emergency hearing allegedly took place, and while Kanye did not attend the proceedings he agreed to delay the release of the song. However, after the rapper learned that Kim has sole ownership of the trademark of North's name, he took to social media to show his displeasure.
The rapper shared screenshots of his alleged conversation with his ex-wife but swiftly deleted them. Nonetheless, according to the messagess Kanye said he’s ‘never speaking’ to Kim again.
The Sun reports that Kardashian explained to Kanye that she was only trying to ‘protect’ their daughter from being associated with P Diddy. She then added that she has sole ownership of all their children's trademarks, as they had previously discussed. Kanye then demanded that Kim 'amend' the ownership or he’s ‘going to war.’
Amend it or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me.
Kim Kardashian reportedly considering full custody of their children
Following the recent fallout between them, sources have told TMZ that Kim Kardashian is contemplating taking full custody of all four of her and Kanye’s children.
Currently, both celebrities have joint physical and legal custody of the children: North, 11; Saint, 9; Chicago, 7; and Psalm, 5. However, Kanye has previously admitted to only seeing his children 20% of the time.
He has also compared seeing his children to being in prison, claiming it’s only ‘visitations.’
Just seeing my kids is like visitation… it’s like I’m in prison ‘seeing’ my kids.
According to Page Six, per the current custody agreement, all decisions regarding the children must be discussed through a mediator. In the end, Kanye ignored the agreement and released the new song on X, claiming ‘men make the final decision.’
The Standard reports that the post made by Kanye on X has since been deleted.
