Leonardo DiCaprio: Insider reveals why he just won't date women after 25

Those of you who were rooting for Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone have a lot to be sad about as the duo broke up after four years of dating, according to a news report by ET Canada.

It’s splitsville for DiCaprio and Morrone

The former couple has always been private about their relationship after being first spotted together in public in January of 2018 in Aspen, Colo. They made their red-carpet debut as an item at the 2020 Oscars, where they sat together in the front row.

According to a news report by People way back in 2019, a source told them that things were 'pretty serious' between them, before adding:

'It’s definitely not a casual relationship. Camila spends a lot of time at his house. Camila is long known as Leo’s girlfriend. And Leo introduced her to both of his parents long ago.'

The ‘no family, no kids’ policy

Interestingly, Morrone had just turned 25 a few months ago and their break-up continues DiCaprio’s long-standing tradition of only getting involved with women in their late teens or early 20s. An unnamed sourced spilled the beans on DiCaprio's dating habits, saying, according to Page Six:

By the time girls reach 25, they’re looking for more — they’re looking to get married and settle down,

That is not what Leo wants. He does not want a family and does not want to be around women who may press him for that. The minute a girl meets him, the clock is ticking. If she gets too old, in a couple of years, she is gone. If she gets too close, in a couple of years, she is gone. He’s gotten older but his taste has not gotten any older

Break-up, always expected

While some have found the news of them breaking up ‘shocking’, others had seen it coming, according to a report by UNILAD.

Back in June, when Morrone had turned 25, a lot of people were joking about how she was going to get dropped by the Oscar-winning actor.

Leonardo DiCaprio dumping girls post 25 is so common that people with time in hand have come up with pie charts and diagrams related to his love life.

One such chart tracked the age of partners and showed how no girlfriend has ever crossed the 25-threshold with the actor.
