Loose Women star Linda Robson’s health scare revealed
During the segment, Robson revealed that she might need to have her pancreas removed due to ongoing medical issues, reports Entertainment Daily. The 66-year-old explained that she will receive a final update about the surgery next week.
A few years ago, Robson had gallstones that damaged her pancreas. She eventually developed a cyst on her pancreas, and if the size of the cyst has increased, she may need surgery to remove it altogether. She explained:
Quite a few years ago I had gallstones and they damaged my pancreas, and they've been keeping an eye on me for a while now.
I have to go back and have MRIs and scans all the time but on the 20th September, I'll find out…
Adding:
Because I had a cyst on my pancreas and it's gone from 1cm to 2cm so the kids have obviously been really worried about me.
If it is bad then they're going to have to remove my pancreas, which means I'll then be a diabetic. But fingers crossed it won't happen, hopefully, the cysts haven't grown.
Robson further stated that while her kids are worried, she feels ‘quite positive about it’ and may not need surgery, reports MailOnline. She said:
I feel healthy, I've got no signs of it and when I had pancreatitis before I was screaming in agony and being sick and everything, so hopefully it's stayed the same size.
When asked by her co-stars how she deals with the situation as a family, she said:
I make jokes about it all the time because I try to diffuse them worrying about me.

According to The Sun, Robson is a mother of three—two daughters, Lauren, 41, and Roberta, 28, and her son, Louis, 32. She had her first child, Lauren, in 1983 with her former partner Tony Tyler. Her other two children are from her marriage to Mark Dunford, whom she split from in November 2023. She told Woman Magazine:
He’s a really good dad and we had some good years, but enough is enough. I’ve got my family and my kids around me. And I’m going on a cruise with Lesley Joseph in November.
Louis Dunford is a talented singer-songwriter. He is best known for Arsenal Football Club's anthem The Angel (North London Forever), reports Mirror. The 32-year-old started playing piano when he was 15 and was discovered by the late music entrepreneur Jamal Edwards.
