It had been a long wait for Love Island 2021. After the pandemic lead to last summer’s series being cancelled, viewers had been waiting a year-and-a-half when the show returned to our screens on 28 June. And while the date of the final hasn’t yet been officially announced, ITV appear to have accidentally revealed when it will take place.

When is the Love Island 2021 final?
Love Island’s official fashion partner I Saw It First is running a competition to win two VIP tickets to the Love Island final official viewing party. The terms and conditions of the competition say the winner must be available to attend the viewing party on Monday 23rd August—which pretty much confirms that’s when the final is.
That means there’s less than one month left of Love Island 2021 and we’re already past the halfway point. The good news is that there are still three and a half weeks to go—and we all know plenty can happen in the villa in that amount of time—and there are sure to be plenty of bombshells yet to come.
The final being on 23rd August would makeLove Island 2021 eight weeks long and bring us to a total of 49 episodes. That’s the same length as the most recent summer series of Love Island 2019 and Love Island 2018 and longer than the last series—Winter Love Island—which lasted for just six weeks.
Who will win Love Island 2021?
Love Island 2021 is still wide open—although we might start to get a better idea of who’s most likely to win after the dust settles from Casa Amor later this week. It’s currently looking like Jake and Liberty are in a strong position, as the only couple who seem to be staying totally loyal to each other.
