Case in point, Liam Reardon is convinced he knows exactly who will be taking the £50K grand prize.
Who does Liam predict to be the winner?
It should come as no surprise that the 21-year-old Welsh bricklayer believes partner Millie and himself will be this year's winners of Love Island. During Wednesday night's episode, the boys opened up to each other and discussed what each of them thought of their respective relationships with the ladies in the villa.
Jake, for one, believes that he and Liberty represent the reality of the complexities of relationships by saying that:
Bumps in the road bring you closer and once you come out the other side. We’re going onwards and upwards and I couldn’t ask for more.
In the same vein, Teddy expressed that:
Everyday waking up we’ve got smiles on our faces. I couldn’t ask for a better woman to start this journey and continue this journey with. I’m excited, boys. I haven’t felt like this in a while.
A love that is stronger than ever
But Liam was the one who seemed the most zealous at the idea of potentially being the winning couple, despite almost splitting up following his antics with Lillie Haynes in Casa Amor. He explains that the couple are more loved-up than ever and have even come close to saying the famous three words and eight letters to each other:
We’ve come such a long way through the ups and downs. We’re in a very good position. We’re very strong. Things are going very, very well.
