Much to the delight of fans who have been itching to get their weekly dose Love Island hook-ups and breakups, bosses of the hit match making show have just made a huge announcement. According to a well-connected source to the show:
Love Island is coming back with a bang and it will begin on the second full week in June. The schedules are being put together now and fans can expect a long, hot summer of fun from the villa from June 6.
And added:
Filming for the promotional adverts is beginning in the next couple of weeks and the ads will start in May. This series is going to be the longest ever and it’s from a brand new location so it’s all very exciting.

What can we expect from Love Island 2022?
In other Love Island 2022 news, several potential contestants have already been identified. According to sources, ex-WAG and beauty expert, Sophie Draper, has caught the eye of producers who are very keen on signer her up! Another potential Islander is The Jam's singer, Paul Weller's daughter, Dylan Weller.
Finally, after lots of back and forth, producers have also confirmed that the show will be filmed in a brand new villa that will also be located in Mallorca. An official statement from the show read:
