Kendall-Ray Knight, who appeared on Love Island in 2018, has come out saying that she is receiving hate messages from people on social media for her mother's actions.

Her mother, Jane Prior, is wanted by police after disappearing with an 8-year-old girl who went missing from her primary school officials have reported. The family of the victim have confirmed that both prior and their little girl, Darcy Shea, had a relationship but that she was never authorised to take her without permission. Supt Becky Smith, of Lancashire Police, said:
While there is no suggestion that Darcy is at any immediate risk we are growing more and more concerned about her welfare as time goes on. Jane Prior and Darcy are known to one another but Jane did not have permission to take her from the school and we need to find them both as soon as we can.
'We will listen to you and look to give you any support'
The family are now under the suspicion that Prior's mental health has rapidly declined but that they are willing to give her the support she needs despite her actions. Supt Becky Smith directed a message to Prior urging her to return the little girl to her family as soon as possible. She said:
It is obvious that you care for Darcy but as time goes on her family are understandably becoming increasingly concerned and as a mother I would urge you to make contact with us urgently and return Darcy as she too will be confused.
And added:
Whatever the reasons are that have led to this incident today, we will listen to you and look to give you any support that you need. I have specially trained officers ready to take your call now so please call us on 07929 764987.
