Thank you, for everything!
Ekin-Su broke down into tears as they were announced the winner while Davide had an expression of disbelief on his face. Davide and Ekin-Su had a very volatile and passionate relationship in the villa, however, their genuine connection made them win the show.
Ekin-Su and Davide appear thrilled in a video uploaded to the Love Island official social media accounts as they express their shock at being chosen as the public's favourite couple. Ekin-Su said:
Thank you everyone for voting for us and thank you for making us who we are.
Davide jumped in between and said:
I didn’t expect it – I still don’t believe it.
The two also spoke about other couples and Ekin-Su said:
I think everyone’s winners in here, and I just feel really lucky to be here.
While Davide added:
We are all four great couples, but yeah, thank you for everyone.
The Turkish delight finished off the video by saying:
Thank you for going on our journey with us - it means so much.
We love you! Ti Amo!
