Love Island Games star Megan Barton-Hanson leaves the show
The reality TV star shot to fame in the UK version of the show and was forming her connection with Kyra Green. She was absent from the Sunday night’s episode of the global spin-off of the series. Love Island Games narrator Ian Stirling announced the news briefly on the show.
According to The Mirror, Megan exited the show due to medical reasons which the producers have not revealed. Kyra has been having trouble in processing the news of Megan’s unexpected exit. She said:
I feel like I'm in shock. I thought she was going to walk in tonight and be like whatever…
This comes after Megan opened up about her ongoing health issues and struggles with Pelvic Inflammatory Disease in September. She wrote on her social media account:
I'd never heard of it but think I may have had my first experience. I've not had pain/fever quite like it the last 5 days have been hell...
If you have good Essex/London-based gynaecologist recommendations please let me know or any tips or remedies for the pain and to stop it from recurring.
The health complication occurs when there is an infection in the female reproductive system and causes pelvic discomfort, bleeding, pain during sex and more. Neither show bosses nor Megan have revealed the reason behind her exit. However, considering Love Island Games was also filmed in september, this could be the reason for her exit as well.
