Rugby son
According to HELLO!, 22-year-old Liam Llewellyn is actually the son of David Llewellyn – a former Welsh rugby international. Interesting, right? His father played Rugby for Wales in the 1999 world cup where he scored a try and earned four caps for his country, as well as 12 appearances on the bench. David has also played for Ebbw Vales, Newport and Neath.
David appeared in the 1999 Rugby World Cup as a replacement against Japan and in the previous Five Nations tournament. The former rugby player now works as a personal trainer in Cardiff, where he helps some rather famous people get in shape. He's been working with rising boxing sensation Joe Cordina, who was just crowned IBF super featherweight champion.
Proud father
David also got his son in shape ahead of the show. This comes after he shared a snap of Liam’s physique on his Instagram page and wrote:
My sons back after a session! #looking great son.
Speaking to Heart South Wales, Liam’s father David appreciated him and said:
It's just a privilege to see him on there.
He's such a charming young man. He's just a gem. He's such a kind-hearted soul. He'd light up any room in the world.
Whether he wins or not he's a true gentleman and he's coming across lovely, he's a top young man
