According to Jessica, she had gone to a walk-in nail salon in Oxfordshire to get her nails done. A day after the nail salon, her side of the cuticle started swelling and getting sore. Reportedly, the nail on the left-hand ring finger had developed an infection. Initially, the finger started getting sore and then the pain went up to her arm, giving her shooting pains along her arm.

The reality TV star shared a story on her Instagram explaining her ordeal. She showed her finger that had become really swollen and red and urged people to be careful when they visit nail salons. She shared a video from her hospital bed and confessed she’s unable to bend her arm even after ten days of suffering from pain at home.

The nail extension – extension

Jessica admitted to knowing that something had gone wrong when she started to experience swelling in her finger. After being rushed to the hospital, she was given two options by the doctor. She told fans:

Saw the doctors this morning and I've got two options, I could either have my nail completely off. Get it bandaged up, obviously, it's going to take months to grow back, but it is what it is.
It will get to the root of the infection or I can stay on the antibiotics for one more night and day.

Explaining that the rest of her fake nails cannot be removed until she is out of the hospital. Not wanting to cut off her entire nail, the beauty added:

So stay in tonight and then hopefully if I see an improvement I won't need the nail off.

Fortunately, she has been witnessing an improvement ever since she began taking antibiotics. The Love Island star now hopes that her nail would be saved. As she manages to fight against her infection, she told her followers:

If you've got a little cut and you feel like it's not healing or it's spreading just make sure you go and get it checked because you can get really sick.

Having gone through all the stress and agony, Jessica might take legal action against the nail salon. However, nothing is yet set in stone and she will wait to see what eventually happens to her nails.
