It’s not been a good week for romance for former Love Islanders. First, it emerged that series 2 favourite Chris Hughes had been dumped over the phone by Little Mix star Jesy Nelson and now Wes Nelson (no relation to Jesy as far as we know…) and Arabella Chi have also decided to break up.

Whilst Chris and Jesy had been finding the separation of lockdown hard to manage, Wes and Arabella had been isolating together in the London home they moved into in December. However, Wes has now moved out and gone to live with fellow Do Bits Society founding member Josh Denzel.
Neither Wes nor Arabella have yet acknowledged the split on their socials yet but representatives for the pair have confirmed the break-up to news outlets. The news will come as a shock to fans of Wes and Arabella, who recently celebrated their 22nd and 29th birthdays respectively, as they had seemed as loved-up as ever in recent times.
Just last week, Wes told OK! Magazine that lockdown with Arabella had ‘been alright’, insisting that they ‘spend a lot of time with each other anyway so it's been okay to self-isolate because it's pretty much what we have been doing anyway, it's the same as before but we're just not getting out and about.’
However, an insider source told The Sun:
It's all over. They started to grow apart and the age gap became really noticeable between them. They want to remain civil with each other and hope to remain friends. There’s been no funny business, no cheating or anything like that, it’s just fizzled out between them.
