Love Island stars Ekin-Su and Davide rekindle romance weeks after their bitter public split

Love Island 2022 winners - the mum and dad who carried the series - Ekin-Su and Davide - have rekindled their romance. The news comes as a delight to fans who were left devastated after their sudden split that appeared to have also blindsided Ekin-Su. However, on Ekin-Su’s 29th birthday this month, Love Island fans were left surprised by Davide’s Instagram post. If you don’t know already, here’s what happened!

Davide celebrates Ekin-Su’s birthday in Turkey

The Turkish beauty had one of the best birthdays despite her recent breakup as ex-boyfriend Davide flew to Turkey to surprise her.Davide posted a snap of Ekin-Su enjoying a special dinner with him on her birthday.

The Instagram story from August 21 saw Ekin-Su posing with a drink in one hand and a plate of cake in front of her. Davide wrote:

Despite all the storms, I wanted to make this day special for you…

Enjoy the moment, make a wish, and blow hard.

And Ekin-Su reshared the post writing ‘Surprising me like always, thank you for a good birthday.’

The days that followed saw their stories with each other as they enjoyed a ‘getting-back-together’ vacation in Ekin-Su’s homeland. Davide also shared a video where he appeared to be looking for something before finding Ekin-Su and wrote ‘ I found someone I think I know.’

In another hint that the couple is back together in full swing, Davide shared a wholesome bunch of photos and videos from his time in Turkey. One snap saw Ekin-Su cosying up to him as she sat on his lap and another saw the two smiling from ear to ear as they get clicked together.

Ekin-Su and Davide's troubled journey back home

After their social media clues and hints that the couple are officially back together, the two had a ‘nightmare experience’ returning home. Taking to Twitter, Ekin-Su revealed that her flight back to Manchester with Davide was no less than a movie scene.
