Gemma Owen’s 27-year-old ex-boyfriend Neil Farrugia could potentially be the contributing factor to the fishmonger’s breakup with her. Fans noticed that Neil Farrugia has started liking her photos on Instagram and that could be why Gemma has decided to split with her 23-year-old Love Island boyfriend, reported The Sun.

This comes after The Sun previously also reported that Neil has claimed to win her back from Love Island’s Luca. He said:
I would definitely try my best to turn Gemma’s head back in my direction if I joined the show as a bombshell.
If I had to predict who she’d end up with, I would never have imagined Luca – Davide is definitely more her type!

While the 19-year-old dressage rider implied that their breakup was a mutual decision, Luca revealed that he had ‘no idea’ that Gemma was going to end things with him. An unnamed insider claimed:
