Love Island’sCatherine and Elom already started having rifts while in they were in the villa. On the day they were dumped, Elom told Catherine that he wanted to get to know other people when there was no one new he could get to know. Ever since then and their Aftersun appearance, fans have been convinced that the two have parted ways and they were right!

An insider has revealed they have split while Catherine said on her TikTok live that she and Elom are just friends!

An insider told The Sun that Catherine and Elom ‘struggled’ to make it work in the real world and hence, decided to call it off. They said:

The pair struggled to make it work in the real world and barely saw each other since the show ended.

They kept up a bit of a pretence, while they did the podcast circuit, but everyone knew it was over before it even really started.

Catherine's sister made no secret about her feelings towards Elom so it's no surprise she cooled things off straight away.

Meanwhile, after Scott got dumped from the villa last night (July 26), Catherine revealed on her TikTok Live that the two decided to remain friends ‘pretty early on.’ This comes after Elom said during a podcast that he doesn’t want a relationship.

Love Island’s Elom takes a dig at Catherine and Scott

Ever since Scott has been dumped from the show, fans are excited to see if he would get back together with Catherine. Catherine also revealed that she spoke to Scott’s sister. Seeing how Scott and Catherine getting back together is highly likely, Elom appears to have taken a dig at them.

Right after Catherine announced that they are just friends, Elom posted a TikTok video where he’s seen lipsyncing:
