Love Island star Dani Dyer gave birth to twins with West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen on May 22, 2023. The 26-year-old already has a two-year-old son Santiago with ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence. However, welcoming her twins with footballer Jarrod has been the ‘best’ thing in her life.

Love Island’s Dani Dyer reveals the reason behind her kids’ names
Dani and Jarrod decided to name their daughters Star and Summer. In a recent Instagram Q&A, Dani revealed why the couple gave their girls such unique names, reported MailOnline. On being asked:
How did you come up with star and summer as names x
She replied:
I’ve always loved the name star since I was a little girl and watched the film the lost boys and the vampire was called star.
Jarrod always liked the name summer so it was an easy decision!
She added:
I loved the name Luna as well.

Dani Dyer on being a mother to 3 kids
The star praised her elder kid Santiago, who has been ‘brilliant’ with his new sisters. When one follower asked how Santiago is getting along with her new sisters, she said:
He has been brilliant bless him…he loves a cuddle with them but he also has just carried on his usual self. So proud of him.
The mother of 3, who was nervous about Santiago’s reaction to the newborns, expressed:
I think it was me that was more worried than anything but he has really adjusted and everyone that has come around has given him lots of love and attention.
Dani also previously shared her fear that she may not be able to tell the twins apart and would use a unique method to distinguish them. She shared she would paint one of their toenails to differentiate them. However, the former Love Island star revealed she didn’t have to do any tricks and said:
I can really see the difference between the girls...I thought I wouldn't be able to but maybe they won't be that identical.
I think where Star is smaller it makes it easier to tell but I think Summer looks more like Jarrod.
Finally, on being asked what it’s like being a family of five, she said:
I love our little family. I definitely know some days are harder than others however I think it's just about accepting help whenever it is offered!
