Love Island's Kady McDermott allegedly has a secret boyfriend outside villa who is facing jail time

Love Island series 10 is into its Casa week - which usually sees Islanders making mad moves in both villas. After Adam Collard, Kady McDermott also decided to make a comeback on the show this year as a bombshell. The star is currently coupled up with Zachariah Noble and has so far shown no interest in any of the Casa boys.

Kady’s reluctance to ‘bombshell’ like she was supposed and participate in challenges previously led fans to believe that she has a man outside the villa.

Kady McDermott’s alleged man is money launderer

According to The Sun, fans' speculation was right and Kady McDermott has been seeing Liam Greer on the outside for more than a year. The 30-year-old runs an electric bike company, however, is currently on the verged of facing jail for ‘money laundering more than £350,000.’

Kady and Liam dated in private after Kady’s ‘previous high-profile relationships and splits’ They went on a romantic Valentine’s getaway at London’s 5-star Bvlgari Hotel in February 2022 before taking a lavish break in the Maldives the following month - March 2022. The couple was then pictured in Ibiza in September last year.

It is understood that Liam and Kady lived together at her renovated Hertfordshire bungalow - which was thoroughly searched as a part of a police investigation. Reportedly, Liam’s bank account received more than £300,000 within a week from different people. He was later ‘charged with acquiring criminal property and admitted laundering £359,700 on April 20 this year when he appeared at Harrow Crown Court.’

The man has pleaded guilty and is due to be sentenced next Friday when he faces a possible jail sentence of up to five years. On being asked about Kady, Liam said:

I’ve got nothing to say about that.

A source added:

Kady should have been aware of the police investigation as detectives went looking for him at her house.

It could be why their relationship has been shrouded in secrecy - but that hasn’t stopped them going from strength to strength.

Kady and Liam’s farewell dinner

Considering his fraudulent past and a prisoned future, Kady may have decided to find love elsewhere - however, it is not certain what is her current relationship status with Liam. A source told The Sun that Kady and Liam had a ‘farewell’ dinner before her departure to the villa.

Kady and Liam went for a posh dinner in Mayfair together the night before she left for Love Island, like a romantic goodbye.
