Love myself first
According to The Sun, Liam was the one who ‘instigated’ the break-up as he had to learn to ‘love himself’ first before being a couple. Love gurus Anna Williamson and Paul C Brunson question Liam on the break-up, to which he replied:
I instigated it because if we want to be together, I want to be 100 per cent together.
For me to love her, I need to love myself and for the past few months, I need to find myself a bit again.
On being asked Millie’s response, he said:
Yeah, upset...upset. Like I was.
You know it's one of those things, you've had such an amazing experience together and you don't want it to end, it's a tricky one.
Reportedly, Liam and Millie are still in contact and have kept the door open for a possible reconciliation in the future.
Back again, soon?
The Welsh hunk explained that the timing wasn’t right for their romance, so the two had to part ways. On the launch of the Celebs Go Dating, he said:
I don't know, you don't know what will happen in the future.
All I know she is a lovely person; she makes a great girlfriend, but our timing right now wasn't right for us.
So, who knows what's going to happen in the future.
He also added:
Just never say never, in the future, we could rekindle.
