Mitch’s questionable antics in the villa and Ella B’s journey on the show didn’t exactly make up for a ‘strong bond.’ Weeks after finishing in fifth place and the show’s end, Ella B and Mitchel have issued a public statement announcing their split.

Love Island’s Ella B and Mitch call it quits
Ella B - who is currently on a bestie vacation with Series 10 Winner Jess Harding in Spain - was the first one who post the story on her Instagram account. She wrote that she wanted to keep her fans updated and feels ‘gutted’ that her journey with Mitchel Taylor has come to an end.
Informing her followers she wrote:
Hi guys, just wanted to come on here and keep you all updated as you deserve to know as I wouldn’t be where I am without you.
Unfortunately myself and Mitch have decided to end our relationship. I really wanted things to work out and I’m gutted that our journey has come to an end.
I wish Mitch all the best and hope he finds his happiness. It’s time for both of us to start a new chapter.
Ending the note with love and appreciation for her fans, she added:
Thank you so much for all the love and support, it means the world to me.
This comes after Ella B and Jess Harding posted on their social media that the two villa besties are on a vacation in Spain again. Jess posted a video of the two in a car in Marbella, Spain. Two snaps later they showed off the luxurious Amare Beach Club.
Meanwhile, Mitchel Taylor also updated his followers about the split. Hinting that the two didn’t have any intentions of ‘ending it,’ Mitch wrote:
Morning everyone, As you have most likely seen Ella’s post, sadly our relationship has come to an end.
He insisted that the split comes as the two find it difficult to manage the relationship due to distance and work. He added:
We had no intentions of ending, but with our busy life’s at this moment and living the other side of country made it extremely hard for it to work.
I wish Ella nothing but the best as she is a lovely girl who deserves the world.
