An early exit
Shannon then turned to Love Island to look for love, but was dumped 48 hours after the premier as Chloe stole her partner—Aaron Francis—leaving her single and out of the villa. Despite the early exit, Shannon admitted that she would have never gotten along with any of the boys romantically as all of them were ‘not men.’ She told Glamour:
All the boys in there now are not men. They are boys. I don't know what they've done with the line up this year.
Finding love outside the villa
It’s now been a month since she left the villa and she’s found her way back to her former boyfriend. She revealed to Mail Online:
Ben and I bumped into each other a few weeks ago at a festival and we have decided to see where things go.
Nothing is official but we are really enjoying each other's company right now and not putting any pressure on things.
Although she claims nothing is official, she did make things official on social media when she posted a picture of him with a caption that read:
Find your happiness folks and make sure you keep it.
Shannon’s new social media campaign
Apart from her success in the love department, Shannon has also been turning heads with her newbody positivity campaign on social media. She is hoping to encourage other people to feel comfortable in their own bodies.
Earlier this week she posted a naked photo of herself with the word ‘mine’ written all over her body. She wrote in the caption:
Social media can be a great platform but can also cause major insecurities, I want to see you all tagging me in your photos celebrating yourselves with the #ilovemine#ilovemy
