Last week Tasha posted a snap of King Charles’ coronation party invite to her Instagram story and shocked everyone as the Islander was from a handful of people to attend the party.
Why was Love Island’s Tasha Ghouri invited to the coronation party?
The 24-year-old model confessed she ‘didn’t believe’ she was actually given an invite to the party. Reportedly, Tasha got the information about her invite way before she was sent the plush invitation to attend the event.
To anyone wondering how and why she got an invite, Tasha has revealed the real reason behind it. The deaf campaigner is an ambassador for The Royal National Institute for Deaf People and that’s why her invite came in. She told The Mirror that Queen Camilla is a patron of the charity and said:
It's a great opportunity to be invited. And it's gonna be a great day, and I get to go with Andrew as well.
I didn't expect it at all. I think it's because I do a lot of charity work behind the scenes that not everyone really knows about. So I think that's kind of why it's come about, but I'm excited. I can't wait.
She added:
They told me a week before, my management was like you have been invited. And I was like, 'No way!'
So yeah, the actual invite came in a few days ago. To actually see it in person. I was like 'Wow', I didn't believe it.

Tasha Ghouri meets the King and Queen
Tasha announced on her Instagram that she met the new King and Queen but wasn’t allowed to take any photos. The former Love Island star donned a white dress with feathered edges and Andrew wore a beige smart suit as it appeared from the pictures posted online.
Tasha took to her story and wrote:
What a moment.
I'm so proud to be a Coronation Champions Ambassador hence why I've had the pleasure to be here today. We had such an honour to meet the King and Queen (wish I had photos but we weren’t allowed).
Little me would’ve thought this would have never happened and feeling so grateful to represent the deaf community.
