Macaulay Culkin in 2021
Prepare to feel old—child star Macaulay is now 41 years old. Last summer, he broke the internet with a tweet reading: ‘Hey guys, wanna feel old? I'm 40. You're welcome.’ It amassed so many likes that it has become the tenth most-liked tweet ever.
Not only is Macaulay Culkin in his forties—he’s also a dad now! The star became a father for the first time this year when his partner Brenda Song gave birth to a baby boy in April. The couple named their son Dakota Song Culkin after Macaulay’s older sister Dakota who was killed by a car in 2008.
Macaulay Culkin’s acting career
While Macaulay is still best known for the roles he played as a child star—Home Alone, My Girl, Uncle Buck and Richie Rich to name a few—he’s also found success acting as an adult. After a break from acting in his teens, he made a comeback in 2000 with a West End stage role before returning to film and TV in 2003.
Since then, he’s appeared in a number of films and TV shows, and a few adverts. He reprised his role as Kevin McAllister in a memorable ad for Google Assistant back in 2018. Most recently, he’s starred in the 2019 film Changeland alongside partner Brenda Song and in the tenth season of American Horror Story: Double Feature as aspiring screenwriter and hustler Mickey.
