As Martin Lewis and Lara Lewington prefer to keep their life private, it is unclear when the couple met for the first time. It is rumoured that Lewis and Lewington met in the early noughties (2000s) just as Martin’s business took off.
The couple decided to tie the knot in 2009 in a very private ceremony. Indeed unlike most celebrities, they didn’t have a lucrative magazine photoshoot, as reported by Daily Mail. They married on May 31, 2009, and their first dance was Can't Take My Eyes Off You by Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
Martin Lewis revealed in 2020 on his Desert Island Discs episode that the song Can't Take My Eyes Off You, is the song he and his now wife would often sing on their romantic getaways early in their relationship:
We would occasionally hire a motorbike when we were on holiday and we'd sit there and we'd sing this song in the sun, on the back of a moped.
Martin and Lara brought a daughter into this world in 2012 called Sapphire Susan Lewis. Martin has admitted that out of the two of them, Lara is the stricter one with their daughter:

Who is Lara Lewington?
Lara Lewingtin was born in Chichester, West Sussex on May 10, 1979 - she is seven years younger than Martin Lewis. Lara studied at St Mary’s University in Twickenham, where she also worked as a runner for the game show It’s a Knockout.
Then, in 2003, she joined Channel 5 and became a weather presenter, where she stayed for 6 years. She also became a showbiz correspondent for Five News, as reported by The Sun.
She then worked for Sky News, also as a showbiz correspondent. In 2011, Lewington became a reporter for BBC’s Click, and then in 2018, she became the presenter of the show.
Lara has done a number of other appearances on TV, including weekly appearances on ITV’s Impressionable Jon Culshaw, BBC Two's Newsnight, ITV's Britain's Best Dish and BBC's Let's Dance For Sports Relief.
Lara is also a tech columnist for Woman magazine. On her website, she reveals that she likes to test out fitness gadgets ‘that aim to help us live our healthiest lives’.
