Then, just like for One Direction, the jury decided to place her and four other women in a band — Fifth Harmony was born. Camila Cabello talks about Matthew Hussey
On 20 May 2024, actor Dax Shepard released a new episode of his podcast Armchair Expert. His newest guest: Camila Cabello. The episode which lasts for over two hours was filled with revelations. According to the description of the episode, the singer addressed topics such as ‘being a child of immigrants’ and how ‘to deal with public attention’.
However, as interesting as these topics are, what really captured people’s attention was the singer’s love life and how she had ‘her first real relationship at 20 years old’. According to Express, Camila Cabello spoke about having sex for the first time with relationship expert Matthew Hussey.
The singer explained:
I had my first relationship at that time. I was outside ['The Today Show' studios] where they had the TV with the scripts.
She continues:
I had actually listened to his podcast before … because he had, like, a dating podcast.
After addressing their meeting, the singer reminisced about their first date. She says they ‘went to dinner that night’ and that he ended up being her ‘first relationship’ and ‘first time having sex’.
Describing the ‘lovemaking’ she says it was ‘beautiful’. Later on in the podcast the woman also spoke about the relationship as a whole and stated:
He was a really great person. It was like the perfect first relationship. It really expanded my world because he wasn’t in my industry too.
She also shared her appreciation for their differences saying that they made him ‘a great partner’.
Matthew Hussey is now married
People in the UK will know Matthew Hussey for his podcast as well as his TV appearances. Indeed, the 36-year-old has been on This Morning with a segment called Matthew Hussey’s Ultimate Guide to Dating Do’s and Dont’s.
According to his biography, the Essex-born boy became a dating coach in his late teens. Though at first he was working with men, he quickly changed his target to women. In 2010 he decided to move to the States and gained the following of big Hollywood names, including Desperate Housewives actress, Eva Longoria.
In 2013, he released his New York Times best selling book Get The Guy: Learn Secrets of the Male Mind to Find the Man You Want and the Love You Deserve. He is now the resident love expert on the Today Show on NBC.
Personally, the man is now happily married to Audrey Le Strat. Not much is known about his wife. Her Instagram bio says that she is the Creative Director behind her husband’s work.
According to a blog post penned by Matthew Hussey, the two met while at a party. The couple got married in Sicily in October 2023.
