The 28-year-old former Love Island star was reportedly horrified after her room door at London's Courthouse Hotel was allegedly kicked in during a furious argument last week. Her on-again-off-again boyfriend James Lock was the reason behind the scene and caused hotel staff to dial 999.

Danger ahead?
Now a week after the ugly hotel bust-up Megan has received a string of threats, however, the source of the threats is still unknown. Staff at London’s Courthouse Hotel called the police to investigate further. Since the threats have started coming in following the fight with James Lock, the TOWIE star is being suspected to be the reason behind it.
Domestic violence organisation Women's Aid condemned James in 2018 for his harsh on-screen behaviour toward ex-girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou. Sian Hawkins of the charity criticised him for his yelling as well as his controlling and aggressive behaviour, claiming that his behaviours displayed obvious warning flags and sent a dangerous message. Meanwhile, James accused the producers of portraying him aggressively in 2019. He said:
I was getting painted out as being a domestic abuser. Or portrayed as having a problem with women and that’s not me at all.

Career jeopardised?
James Lock’s career is in Jeopardy. Amidst all these events of James Lock and his violent aggressive streak, reportedly, TOWIE producers are reconsidering casting him for the upcoming season. A source confirmed that the producers do not want to connect violence to the show, as such, his future on the ITV show is in doubt. A spokesperson for TOWIE confirmed:
TOWIE is not currently filming and casting for the forthcoming series has not yet been confirmed.
James had become a staple to TV viewers, thanks to TOWIE. Alongside this regular gig, James is also a model and entrepreneur.
