The clip of the interview that took place back in 2014, shows the four judges, Simon Cowell, Cheryl Tweedy, Louis Walsh and Mel B being questioned about the show. During the clip, former Spice Girl and popstar Mel B appears extremely uncomfortable whilst clearly being touched by Irishman Louis Walsh.
After putting up with it for the majority of the interview, Mel B eventually had to stop the interview and publicly call out her colleague live on air. She said, 'Why are you grabbing my butt?' abruptly drawing attention to Louis’ actions. The Irishman, seemingly uneasy, responded awkwardly 'I’m looking out for you.'
After getting over 80,000 retweets on Twitter, the viral clip has sparked public outcry. Hundreds of Twitter users came out in support of Mel with some praising her composure and the way she handled it. but the real question that needs to be asked is really; why are we only paying attention to it now?
