Melania Trump reportedly disregarded by Donald yet again despite her support for him

Melania Trump recently broke her silence and voiced her support for her husband Donald Trump running for President of the United States again in 2024. This came as a surprise to many, who speculated that their marriage was in tatters amid the former US President being indicted with 34 felony charges of falsification of business records. Despite her support, Donald Trump seems to be failing to return the favour to his wife.

Donald Trump fails to acknowledge Melania publicly

Donald Trump’s recent behaviour has done nothing to squash the rumours about the state of his marriage.

First, Trump failed to publicly acknowledge Melania's 53rd birthday on 26 April. Trump posted 15 times on Truth Social on the day but in none of those posts did he wish her a happy birthday. He posted another 17 times the following day, but still did not mention the special occasion.

Then, on Sunday 14 May, it was Mother’s Day in the US. Again, Trump posted on Truth Social but failed to wish his wife a happy Mother's Day. Melania shares one son with Trump, Barron. Trump's daughter, Ivanka, is also a mother to three children. But instead, Trump wrote:

Happy Mother’s Day to ALL, in particular the Mothers, Wives and Lovers of the Radical Left Fascists, Marxists, and Communists who are doing everything within their power to destroy and obliterate our once great Country.

Trump continued:

Please make these complete Lunatics and Maniacs Kinder, Gentler, Softer and, most importantly, Smarter, so that we can, quickly, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

US Presidents send Mother's Day wishes

Meanwhile, many other former US Presidents took the opportunity to recognise their wives and mothers. Barack Obama tweeted:

Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you take a moment to appreciate all the moms and mother-figures in your life – and be there for people who may be missing theirs.

To Michelle Obama, thanks for being such an amazing mom to our beautiful girls. You set an incredible example for all of us.
