Melania Trump reveals where the documentary idea came from

As mentioned above, it was Melania Trump’s idea to make a documentary about her life following the success of her memoir. Speaking to Fox & Friends, she explained her life is ‘incredible’ and ‘incredibly busy’.

The book was such a success. I’m very proud. I get so many messages and letters about how they enjoy the book. [...] My fans and people would love to hear more from me.
So I had an idea to, to make a movie, to make a film about my life. My life is incredible. It’s incredibly busy. And, I told my agent, you know, I have this idea, so please, you know, go out and make a deal for me.

Melania’s upcoming documentary will air on Amazon Prime and is directed by a controversial filmmaker.

What will Melania Trump’s documentary show?

In her interview with Fox & Friends, Melania Trump reveals what the documentary will show. Melania explains that the production for the documentary began in November 2024 and they are still currently shooting.

The documentary will show her ‘day-to-day life’, from what she does to the kind of responsibilities she has. The documentary will also show Melania and her family moving into the White House and ‘what it takes to make the residence your home’.

The public will get to see Melania’s working side, as the documentary captures her setting up her First Lady team.

Ainsley Earhardt asks Melania what is different this time around when it comes to moving back into the White House. Melania responds that this time she ‘knows the process’.

The first time was challenging. We didn’t have much of the information. The information was withheld for us from the previous administration.

Melania also speaks about her experience as First Lady back in 2016, explaining that she ‘didn’t have much support’. She also adds that the first time, ‘people didn’t accept her’ and ‘didn’t understand her’.

I feel I was always me the first time as well. I just feel that people didn’t accept me. Maybe they didn’t understand me the way. Maybe they do now. And I didn’t have much support.

Melania then emphasises that people only saw her as the wife of the President, when in fact she is ‘independent’ from her husband and she is ‘standing on her own two feet’.

I have my own thoughts. I have my own yes and no. I don’t always agree with what my husband is saying or doing, and that’s okay.

Melania Trump squashes rumours

Moreover, Melania put an end to the ongoing rumours that she will not reside in the White House alongside her husband when he takes office on January 20. In the interview, she said she ‘will be in the White House’.

However, she does explain that if she needed to, she would be in New York or Palm Beach, but she would be living in the White House.

She also adds that she has ‘already packed’ and selected the furniture for the White House.

I’ve already packed, I’ve already selected the, you know, the furniture that needs to go in.
