At the age of 65, Val Kilmer passed away on 1 April. His main cause of death was revealed as pneumonia, however the report revealed that he was also struggling with other health conditions.

'A life-long friend of Jon's, a brother to Jeanne and a dear friend to me, we will miss him terribly. He is out of pain now. His suffering is over. At last he is at peace.'
On 10 April, Only Fools and Horses actor Mario Ernesto Sánchez passed away at the age of 78. He was struggling with long-term health issues. His agent said:
‘Mario Ernesto Sánchez died today at 3.03am as a result of a long and painful illness.’
Actress Jean Marsh passed away at the age of 90 on April 13. Known for being the co-creator of Upstairs, Downstairs, she had been diagnosed with dementia and died from its complications.
On April 15, Danny Dearden's manager Denise Beighton confirmed that the X Factor contestant had passed away at the young age of 34. She said:
'Heartbroken to wake up to the news that you're gone. I have no words right now, rest easy beautiful boy.'
Beighton's agency revealed that the died 'peacefully after a long illness’, but no further details are known.
