Under the wrong impression
Wearing a flowy and voluminous number in the picture, some thought that her choice in attire meant she was hiding a pregnancy bump. But the most recent Love Island champ clapped back explaining why precisely that line of thinking was problematic.
As more and more followers jumped on the bandwagon and asked if her and Liam were indeed expecting their first baby together, she explained:
NO, I am not pregnant although one day hopefully I will be and I'm sure it'll be one of the happiest days of my life but being a woman, especially in the public eye, I've now experienced what it's like to be absolutely torn apart by the way you look, dress, act etc and it can be hard on someone to be constantly judged.
And added:
Hence why I am trying my best to show everyone you are beautiful no matter way, without all the editing and filters. This is of course indicating that someone's put on weight and almost feels like a nicer way to say 'are you pregnant or are you just packing on the pounds?'.

The real meaning behind the picture
The actual reason for posting the picture, according to Millie herself, was to celebrate and empower women through embracing the way one naturally looks. For this reason, she decided to go make-up free and show the world what real skin—acne and all—looks like.
