The final of the Miss World beauty contest took place on Wednesday, March 16 in Puerto Rico. After a night full of emotions, it was Miss Poland who was crowned.

Karolina Bielawska, Miss World 2021
It was an eventful evening in the Caribbean, with the election of Miss World 2021. One hundred young women walked the stage giving everything they had to win the contest. But finally, it was Miss Poland, Karolina Bielawska, who two years on from the last contest succeeded Miss Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh.
Internet users disappointed
Karolina Bielawska is a young 24-year-old Polish woman who was elected Miss Poland in 2019 before participating in the Miss World contest. She is currently a student and has previously completed a degree in Management Sciences at the University of Technology in Lodz. She wrote a thesis on the topic ‘The image of the brand Miss Poland’. But, even though the young woman seems to have it all, Internet users were disappointed with her crowning.

Many fell for the charm of Olivia Yacé, the representative of the Ivory Coast. On Twitter, there were posts such as:
You mean it's not the Ivory Coast who won? She is very pretty the winner, but in view of what happened tonight and during the preliminaries, the victory goes to Olivia.

A disaster this election, Miss World this year is no longer what it was in previous years, too bad.
