S Club members tried to call Paul Cattermole
According to media, the members of S club tried to call their bandmate, Paul Cattermole mere hours before finding out that he had died.
The group revealed that when they learnt of his passing ‘it felt like someone had punched me in the stomach.’
In a recent interview, Jo O’Meara revealed that she and Jon Lee were the first to hear about Paul’s death from their management. They then go on to explain that they were all really concerned and ‘panicked’ as Paul had stopped replying to messages and wasn’t answering their calls.
Jon told The Sun:
We’d done a Zoom call with him, all of us, on the Monday. Then our management had messaged him a few times and it hadn’t shown that it’d been read on WhatsApp
He then added that at first, they weren’t worried as it was typical behaviour for Paul:
So it was like, ‘Is he all right?’ But then it was like, ‘Yeah it’s Paul. You know, sometimes he doesn’t answer his phone
They tried again the next day but Paul was still not answering:
Then the next day I phoned him and messaged him.
Everyone was trying to get hold of him . . . and no one could.
