Wedding bells are ringing!Mail Online has reported that Bake Off presenter, Paul Hollywood, secretly married Melissa Spalding on 20 September in a private Cyprus ceremony.

While the news hasn’t been confirmed by the couple, we know that the two have been dating for about three years and it is believed that Hollywood proposed back in 2022. As he is so well-known for his Bake Off judging act, we can’t help but wonder who the woman is that captured his heart.

The love story of Paul Hollywood and Melissa Spalding
The two reportedly met at a pub, The Chequers Inn, where the baker is said to have been a regular.
The two have been very quiet about their relationship which they chose to keep quiet at first. However, in December 2019, they confirmed their romance after rumours started going around.
They have been together ever since and an anonymous source, believed to be close to the couple, said ‘they are madly in love.’ Giving more details, the source continued:
They bubbled up together and stayed at his house. Now she is there for good. They are delightfully happy

Who is Melissa Spalding?
Not much is known about Paul Hollywood’s reported new wife. Indeed, contrary to her partner, Spalding is not a woman who lives in the spotlight.
Mail Online reports that the Spalding family own The Chequers Inn where Melissa and Paul met. Not only that, at the time of their first encounter, she was the landlord of the place. The Chequers Inn is a historical pub, dating back to the 14th century.
Mail Online also alleges that Spalding has been engaged twice before and that she was set to marry professional golfer Jason Barnes.
Hollywood and Spalding reportedly moved in together in 2020, as the world was closing in because of COVID-19. She is believed to be living in Paul Hollywood’s ‘18th Century four-bedroom farmhouse.’
