Paul O’Grady helping even in death
As many know, Paul O’Grady was a huge dog lover. He has owned many dogs over the years and hosted the show Paul O’Grady’s For the Love of Dogs to help dogs find new homes. At the end of most seasons, he would inevitably adopt another dog.
When Paul passed, he left behind 5 dogs with his husband, Arfur, Conchita, Eddie, Nancy and Sausage, known as Soz.
One of O'Grady's dogs is often featured on television alongside him. His beloved dog Buster was seen plenty of times on his chat show The Paul O'Grady Show. Sadly, Buster, a shih tzu-bichon frisé cross, died of cancer in 2009 as reported by Metro.
Paul's other dog, Olga then took over and would be on TV with him. Olga was a Cairn Cross terrier. In 2018, Paul announced that he had to put Olga to sleep after suffering from kidney failure.
To pay their respects to Paul O’Grady, many have donated to Battersea Cats and Dogs Home. The shelter has received £100,000 by the end of the first weekend of April. So even after his death, Paul O’Grady is helping the animals needing loving homes.
